Folder Blade Holder :
This Little gadget makes life easy on the fingers when You Grind
Difficult to hold, Folder blades.
I even use the back side to hold my Boot knife blades.
Specifications:
The handle piece I made from Bakelite, just wide enough to suit a
medium blade width, and the length to suit
my hand width, I cut a step into the one side to suit the back of my
largest folder blade, this stops the blade
from wanting to swing down while grinding.
My pivot pins are 4.5mm Dia so my Countersunk screw and Wing nut is M4.

Micro Screw Tapping
Device :

This Little Gadget I use for
tapping the holes for the 0-80 UNF micro screws.
Specifications:
The blue shaft I turned out of Brass, body Dia 8mm with a 5mm Dia
shank, by about 60mm long.
The hole in the bottom to suit the size of the Micro Screw Tap shank,
with a little slide clearance.
The Gold color Collar is also made from brass, 18mm Dia x 12mm thick,
knurled side.
with a m3 hole tapped on the side for a M3 grub screw, this holds the
Tap in place.
The Blue shaft is clamped in my STD pedestal drill chuck, to keep it
straight with the liner.
I made a 15mm thick wood block, with a hole drilled thru it for the tap
to pass thru while tapping.
Method:
Only turn the collar from side to side as You would normally tap any
hole.
The tap Shank rotates in the Blue shaft , and as the tap moves thru the
matl. it moves down.
I normally when I set it up leave about 3 mm between the tap point and
the liner.

Clamp for filing :

This Clamp comes in handy when you are filing at very acute angles.
Specifications:
It is made from hard wood, 60mm wide x 140mm long x 30 thick at
bottom end.
the side taper starts about 60mm from the bottom, and the bottom
cut-outs is 10mm deep x 25mm high.
with about a 8mm top edge rounded outside.
I used a STD butt hinge to connect the two at the bottom, with a 3mm
gap.
Method:
Place the CLAMP in Your normal bench vice, with the bottom cut-outs
inside the jaws, place the blade into position and tighten.
It gives You that extra 4'-5" space from the bench vice jaws,
and also stops squeaking while filing because
of the wood. And also because it is so narrow at the top, close Filing.
You can place two Leather strips at the top for protection.
I even file Big bowie blades in this "PEG"
